St David's RC High School Catchment and Admissions Consultation

Overview

A report on the outcome of this consultation was published on Tuesday 22nd September for further consideration and can be found below. 

The proposals contained in this consultation will be considered by elected members at a meeting of Midlothian Council on Tuesday 10th November 2026. 

  • Clarify the catchment area of St. David’s Roman Catholic High School with implementation from August 2027.
  • Variation to the ‘Education Policy Admission to Secondary Schools’, in relation to entry to denominational and secondary schools will be implemented from August 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Please note, the date of the council meeting was incorrectly listed in the Consultation report as 22nd September 2026, this report will go to Council on 10th November 2026.
