Overview

The Local Heat & Energy Efficiency Strategy is an important document for Midlothian. It will help Midlothian tackle the climate emergency and meet Net Zero targets. The Strategy and Delivery Plan will set out our approach to decarbonising heat in buildings and improving energy efficiency accross the council area.

Increasing energy efficiency and decarbonising heat for all buildings in Scotland is a core part of the energy transition to meet net zero and tackling the climate emergency. 

We are keen to hear about your plans for heat decarbonisation to help shape our own Local Heat & Energy Efficiency Strategy. Your responses will be used within our Strategy document and will be kept anonymous.
