Midlothian School Session Dates 2027/28 and 2028/29

Overview

We want to hear the views of staff, parents and parent councils on proposed school session dates for 2027/28 and 2028/29. The consultation is open from Monday 26 January 2026. Please send comments about all or either of the two school session dates by Monday 9th February 2026.

A report on the consultation and the session dates will go to a meeting of full Council for approval. Once agreed, the final dates will be on the school term dates pages of the website.
